B24 SCHEDULES at EiBi, Aoki/NDXC and HFCC are now linked from WOR homepage http://www.worldofradio.com ** ALGERIA. 17600, Oct 27 at 1456, S6/S7 song, 1458 French ID for Ifrikya FM - this remains a major TDA frequency in B24. Excessive registrations at http://www.hfcc.org/data/schedbyfmo.php?seas=B24&fmor=TDA show Béchar site on 17600, 13640, 9500, 11620; Ouargla on 13790, 9700, 6040, 15160 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ALGERIA. 17600, Oct 30 at 1450 direct, and at 1907, 2033 into UTwente, NO signal from Ifrikya FM, which is HFCC registered at 0700-0100! Others do report it in their mornings after 0700, but when does it really stop? ``An English segment was heard today, 30 October, at 0753 on 15160 and 17600. Called "Living Legends" (or perhaps "Living Legends Never Dies"), this episode was talking about a woman (couldn't catch the name) involved in the conflict between Algeria and France from the 1830s. Also today, 30 October, from 1030 to 1045 (and still on 15160 and 17600) was a studio "roundtable-style" discussion in English about the "digital landscape" (encompassing education, social affairs and social media), with a short musical break midway through the discussion. Alan Roe, Teddington, UK`` in the WOR iog; and: ``I heard them yesterday (29 October) on 17600 kHz (didn’t check 15160) with a talk in English at 0743 about the Afar people and their cultural heritage. Difficult to follow at times due to the presenter’s accent. Band is full of beacons and phones (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** BONAIRE. 24955 USB, Oct 25 at 2214, PJ4KY calling QRZ Japan, and causing co-channel pileups. QRZ.com: ``PJ4KY Bonaire flag Bonaire, Bert Van Oort, All QSL Via M0URX, Kralendijk, Bonaire`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** BRAZIL. 28309 USB, Oct 26 at 2208, ZZ5K with quick contest contacts. QRZ.com: ``ZZ5K Brazil flag Brazil, Contest Special Callsing {sic} OP PP5RT, Rua Rio Ganges 130, Rio Do Sul, SC 89161510, Brazil`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CANADA. 28170 CW, Oct 25 at 2204, VVV DE VA3XCD/B, slow beacon marker repeating, same as logged at same time Oct 14, q.v.; and again, 10m band is chock-full of more beacons and phones (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CHAD [non]. 9535, Oct 28 at 0608, YL in language with stingers, S5/S7. Per EiBi this is now R. Ndarason International in Kanuri, 06-07 via Woofferton UK (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CHINA [non]. 5910, Oct 28 at 0313, no signal from CRI relay via La Habana as now sked at 0300-0500 per HFCC, ex-9790. COLOMBIA is long-gone from 5910 but still in Aoki, not EiBi (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA [and non]. 1040, Oct 24 at 0640 UT, ``whooper`` QRM vs WHO, a typical Cuban defect. WRTH has only one, 10 kW R. Mayabeque, Güines (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2266) ** CUBA. 15230, Oct 26 at 2218, S9+10 of open carrier and trace of modulation, RHC finally making a comeback to usual uselessness following hurricanes and apagones nacionales (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA. 7335, Oct 28 at 0307, pulse jamming against nothing, since R. Martí is now on 7355, and 7435. So the jamming is back, wasting precious pesos of electrical energy. RM changes its 7 MHz usage per season for no obvious reason, but confusing incompetent jammers who don`t pay attention to HFCC. RM so strong that cannot tell if jammed (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** CUBA [non]. 13820, Oct 30 at 1448, S9/+20 of open carrier as Grimesland is warming up for R. Martí at 1500-2100, always B-season frequency instead of 13605 A-season. No jamming audible yet on either (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** GUIANA FRENCH. 28445 USB, Oct 26 at 2213, FY5FY, quick contest contacts including N7RVD. QRZ.com: ``FY5FY French Guiana flag French Guiana, DIDIER BIRONNEAU, 35 rue LEOPOLD HEDER, BP 57026, CAYENNE CEDEX 97307, French Guiana`` 10m is fuller than usual but only up to 28.7 MHz or so, the top MHz mostly vacant (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ITALY [non]. 7290.002, Oct 30 at *1857, IRRS `Milano` via ROMANIA or BULGARIA on with tone, then dead air, S9+10/15, 1900 s/on as ``7285`` and into anti-abortion gospel huxter. So now it *is* announcing wrong frequency. QRM situation: until 1857, 7290 is CRI; from 1857, 7295 is CRI, with heavy ACI to IRRS now on 7290, while nothing is on 7285 or 7280 = so IRRS should have stayed on 7285! if it`s going to be at 19-20 UT instead of 18-19 in A-season, which we expected and is now shown on NEXUS/IBA sked (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** JAPAN. 7380, Oct 29 at 0705, Japanese S9+20/30 direct. NHK from Yamata 0700-0900 for S America: a very strange transmission at 4-6 am local in Brasil, Argentina, Uruguay, even earlier elsewhere. Are JJ ethnix typically early-risers? OTOH, hits Hawai`i on the way at only 9-11 pm local (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MALI. 13630, Oct 26 at 2220, S9+10/20 of Chinese language lessons in French, as CRI Bamako scheduled 2130-2230 to East Africa. ?? No FF ex-colonies there unless stretched to Rwanda/Burundi, Djibouti - hmm, the latter important to the ChiCom with a base there (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** MEXICO. 800, Oct 30 at 0658, still heavy distorted QRM from XEERG, NL, to nearby KQCV OK (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NEW ZEALAND. 17675, Oct 24 circa 0640, JBA carrier from RNZP, as has been the case lately, hardly propagating like it was for a while. B24 schedule changes a lot but stays on 17675: AM daily: 1651 11725, 1759 15720, 2159 17675, 0659 13755, 1259-1650 7390. DRM daily except Saturdays: 1651-1758 9780, 1759-2058 13840  (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2266) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6925 USB, Oct 27 at 0302, S9+10/20, OPOB, with novelty jingles, name I can`t be sure of: ``Radio Dallas``? ``Radio Damnung``? ``Radio Denmark``? ``got to go``, with reverbs, yells past 0307. Then I check HFU: unIDs more than 2 hours earlier, SSTVs of a baby; only one log around my time; was the ID word Jammer?: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,135716.0.html ``S9+10 with the Traverse City, MI KiwiSDR. 0300 UTC-Radio Jammer AI generated song`` from Lucas Bandura, BC, who hasn`t posted to the WOR iog for quite a while (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 6925 USB, Oct 28 at 0306, S9+10/20 of jazz, the OPOB. These say it`s Wasteland Radio, a.k.a. Dilligaf Radio: https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,135802.0.html (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 7475, Sat Oct 26 at 0657, Station YHWH on very late again, Josiah JBA S8. Also noted independently by Ron Howard at 0637 until 0737*; as well as Walt Salmaniw, Eric Fetters-Walp (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 7475, Oct 27 at 0309, presumed Station YHWH, JBA (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 11529.9, Oct 26 at 0149, JBA signal presumed pirate Hikari FM. Seldom can I get enough for direct listenability. 6960 AM, also JBA carrier here, since it`s UT Saturday, presumed Ball Smacker Radio on usual schedule. Stronger than a JBAC on 6925 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 11529.9, Oct 26 at 2221, JBA signal presumed Hikari FM on signature offset, allegedly in Mexico; altho I see Rick Barton, AZ, classifies it as USA. If really just across the border in Sonora, Rick should be in 11 MHz skip zone, not getting him so well -- or, close enough for groundwave? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** NORTH AMERICA. 11529.9, Oct 29 at 2214, JBA carrier, presumably pirate Hikari FM on signature offset (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA [and non]. 960, Oct 24 at 0632 UT, local KGWA Enid in C2CAM but considerable CCI and a pronounced SAH, adding up to S9+42. Only a few km away, this is unusual: must be on reduced power, yet air not deadened. Also echoing C2CAM from an understation, most likely WERC Birmingham AL per NRC AM Log altho there are a few others at greater distances, lesser powers. However, Log does not have KGWA as C2CAM station; may have started later after August closing (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 27224.8 and 27185.1 approx., Oct 25 at 1454, Enid CB pirate relaying 105.5 gospel music on K288FX, translator of K-Love, KYLV 88.9 OKC. Can barely make them out vs all the skip/local QRM (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** OKLAHOMA. 95.1, still not on air yet, but getting closer, new LP station in Enid to block KICT and KQCV, not to mention 95.3 KOKC, but Benn Kobb sends latest info on callsign: ``KOKJ-LP granted callsign for Enid station.`` https://fccdata.org/?facid=&call=kokj Licensee is Radio Media LTD, 701 N Grand St, 73701; 580-554-0392 (Glenn Hauser, Enid, WOR) ** PORTUGAL. 21449 USB, Oct 27 at 1451, CR6T calling QRZ and making quick contest contacts, barely inside the ``15`` mb. Such a call implies Portuguese colonies but now this is merely Portugal, QRZ.com: ``CR6T Portugal flag Portugal, RUI SANTOS (TONY), QTA DO VALE - SILVEIRINHO, PENACOVA 3360, Portugal``. His CQ zone is 14, i.e. western Europe. [non] Meanwhile the adjacent 13 m SWBC band is absolutely empty tho lotsa Eurosigs could obviously propagate if energized. Axually 21449 is in the *13*, not 14, not 15 m band, the boundary between 13 and 14 about 21321 kHz. At 1451, HFCC B24 shows all these could/should be on air with somethings: 21470, 21485, 21490, 21540, 21560, 21575, 21600, 21615, 21630, 21690, 21800, 21840. Imaginary stuff (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** PUERTO RICO. 391 MCW kHz, Oct 26 at 0630, ND beacon DDP, San Juan/Dorado, 1 kW, often inaudible, but now with better signal than a bunch of USA ones, q.v. (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ROMANIA. 9545, Oct 27 at 0312, classical music VG S9+30/40, Spanish announcement from RRI; and also slightly weaker on 9740. As in HFCC B24, from Galbeni and Tsiganeshti; but also listing 7205 & 11800 resp.; are they on too or still on reduced usage? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** ROMANIA. 11930, Oct 29 at 0655, RRI English signing off, S6/S8 direct. Per EiBi, RRI is the only station foolish enough to choose this Cuban jammer frequency! None heard now, but when capable, often runs all night despite Martí on here only in daytime. 0630-0700 only, Galbeni to W Europe, so also thisaway (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. Ken Zichi, who also monitors SNR English broadcasts and must do a lot of post-broadcast online research to get details, identifies the Lebanon correspondent as: ``Elsa Yazbek Charabati (I guess she got married!)``. 17855, 17715, 15520, 15390, again on Friday Oct 25 at 2200, REE continues in Spanish instead of token English, same as happened Wednesday. Then and now, online program sked still claims it should be in English today. Despite VG reception on NAm frequency direct, I`m so pissed I don`t even try to listen for content. What`s going on with them, blowing away English without notice? I have not paid attn if they announced email for the English dept., and can`t find it on website. Next chance will be Monday Oct 28 at new time of 2300 and frequency 9690, 11940, 12030, 17755. One sked version from REE itself shows 17775, presumably a typo (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. Mon Oct 28 at 2245, REE found NOWHERE into UTwente or Maryland SDRs, on A24 17855, 17715, 15520, 15390 nor B24 9690, 11940, 12030, 17755 frequencies! There have been some R1 blackouts per WWV but there ought to be at least traces of something. Of course, I was preparing to check if English would occur at B24 time of 2300, especially on B24 for NAm, 9690. ¡¿Qué pasa?! (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. Checking REE program info via the WOR Hitlist, we see that there are no English podcasts since 22 Oct = UT Mon Oct 21 at 2200; yet the ``hoy`` Tuesday Oct 29 program alleges there is/was English at 0000 & 0400 local = 2300 & 0300 UT - when no SW frequencies were on air! Altho some blackouts had occurred, there were other signals audible on the bands around 2300. There is a certain disconnect among the program producers, the SW operators, and the websiters. Tue Oct 29 at 1620, into UTwente, bigsigs in Spanish on 12030 and 17755, ME and Africa beams which start at 1600 M-F. 9690 & 17715 for N&S America start at 1900 weekdays. Confirmed at 1917 into UTwente, JBA direct, 17715 slightly better than 9690, which is really too low for a daypath at this hour: too drastic a drop from 18 to 10 MHz. UTwente also hears 17755 poorly, not direct. But shall there really be any token English at 2300 M/W/F? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** SPAIN. 9690 & 12030, Wed Oct 30 at 2318 check, NO TOKEN ENGLISH, SFR still in Spanish instead, both fairly audible direct, probably about the flash-flooding disaster. Both VG into UTwente and JBA on 17715, 17755. As I reported, NO frequencies were on air when English should have appeared Monday Oct 28 after 2300. But, earlier Wed: ``An English podcast has now been uploaded (on 29 Oct for the UT Mon 28 Oct programme). Alan Roe, Teddington, UK`` Here it be with subject: https://www.rtve.es/play/audios/english-language-broadcast/world-menopause-day-raising-awareness-of-womens-health/16307489/ (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 11785+, Oct 25 at *2159.5, JBA carrier cuts on direct from VOT English, but gone again by 2201 after I check Spain and RMI; and no come back, another try-but-fail, nothing even unto UTwente at 2227 check; and not on 9875 either, possible overrun from previous transmission. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 11785.008-, Oct 26 at 2203, VOT not off the air, olds in English, S9+10/20 direct. Into UTwente when measured at 2232, S9+45/50 with music, nothing but music until 2254 s/off as if 17620, 2255 IS to 2255.6*. From tomorrow for B24 should change to 5960 at 2300. Did they warn listeners about this abrupt total change? Of course not! No doubt the s/on/off of the 5960 will assert it`s at 1330 on 13635 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 6125 S9+35/45 // weaker 7285, Oct 27 at 0417 music on B24 English frequencies of VOT now in effect, no more at 0300 on 7275 > 6165 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [and non]. 9610, Oct 27 at 2205, VOT English new time from 2130, and frequency, with `Letterbox` theme - just starting? NO, ending. S9+20/25 into UTwente but heavy CCI. B24 EiBi shows CNR8 in Mongolian, 100 kW, 286 degrees from Beijing site at 2055-0600. TRT should have avoided this frequency. 5960.004-, Oct 27 at 2300, TS and s/on VOT English to NAm, new time and frequency for B24, S9+35/40 into UTwente, but there is an understation. This time it`s PBS Xinjiang, Urumqi in Mandarin, at 2300-0300 per EiBi, 2330-1800 per HFCC. I know this will be unusable direct: yes, at 2307 S8/S9 below the noise level, but Urumqi probably not a problem here. They need to have a `shoulder` season with something less drastic than a drop from 12 to 6 MHz. Also, domestic clock changes should not be imposed upon international listeners. `Letterbox` starts at 2314, with another hostess, Sylvia? Says they are trying different program presenters each week. Mentions that frequencies have changed but no details, look them up somewhere. I try to copy those called but as usual hard to understand the names. 1) Burnett?, England. 2) Christer Brunström, Sweden, 20/10 report, again against the multi-lingual ID filler reels, but guess what: VOT are adding some more langs, including Norwegian, Korean, Japanese! for total of 47. 3) India, about the Dewali festival. Music break at 2323. 5) Mohamed Bashir?, Pakistan. 6) Ricky Hein, from a phone call, wants skeds. 7) Graham?, Indiana. 8) Chris ---, Canada. Closing with PO Box 33 address again, instead of 333 - which is correct? Does not spell Yenishehir. 2332 music. 2335 L`Box outro (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY. 9650, Oct 28 at 0606, YL in Turkish presumed news, with stingers, S6/S8 direct; at 04-07 per EiBi, i.e. ex-13635 which was easy every night but not logged (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [non]. 5960, Oct 28 at 2258 and still 2309, NO signal from VOT English to us, which succeeded yesterday, but plenty signal from Xinjiang PBS into UTwente, 5960.000 with Chinese music, dead air, 2300 5+1 TS and Xinjiang ID in Mandarin, i.e. EAST TURKISTAN. TRT should QSY ASAP if they can even get on the air, but they need to inform everyone whereto. I tuned UTwente around between 5800 and 6000, not encountering any obvious TRT. Something`s always awry at Ankara and/or erroneous at Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [non]. 5960.003-, Oct 29 at 2259, Chinese music with interruptions, 2300 timesignal and Mandarin announcement, S9/+15 into UTwente: much like yesterday, no trace of VOT English to us (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** TURKEY [and non]. 5960.004-, Oct 30 at 2318, strong signal direct on indoor antenna during OK thunderstorm, must be VOT back after absent two days. Yes, into UTwente at 2322 when measured, English at S9+25/35; 2332 starts `The Middle East and Turkey`. 2340 music. 2344 `Sports Panorama`. 2352 s/off as if 13635 at 1330-1430 --- something`s always awry at Ankara, and IS: now I can hear some CCCCCCI underneath, which would be PBS Xinjiang, Urumqi, EAST TURKISTAN, land of imperialist ChiCom cultural genocide against Uyghurs and other Moslems. 2356 restart VOT IS with German IDs twice a minute. Something`s always erroneous at Emirler. Off at 2358* uncovering Urumqi, mentioning ``Wulumushi`` multiple times, frequency/relay listing? Briefly this seems to have CCI of IS from some religious broadcaster, but nothing else scheduled starting or stopping now. 0000 into CNR1 relay (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U K [non]. 11810, Oct 30 at 0645, S6/S9 English about Cameroon: it`s BBC via ASCENSION this hour only. WHAT`S GOING ON WITH WAVESCAN, from Ray Robinson: ``Hi, Glenn. We haven't communicated in some time, but I trust you are well. You may be interested in some of the fallout from AWR's decision to end the use of all shortwave relay sites. Jeff White and I were provided with the new schedule for KSDA about 10 days or so ago, and the immediately obvious thing was that there were no English language programs on the schedule at all, including no Wavescan. We have sought clarification from a number of people at AWR, but have not received any response. No one at AWR has informed us that Wavescan has been canceled, but it seems that is their intention, at least in so far as their own platforms are concerned. Jose Jacob in India has confirmed that Wavescan was not broadcast via KSDA on Sunday, and furthermore this week's edition has not been posted on AWR's podcast page ( https://awr.org/program/engmi_wav ). However, the show will very much continue in production with Jeff and I, just as before, but I guess now just as 'Wavescan' and not 'AWR Wavescan' any longer. To be clear, neither Jeff nor I have any association with AWR, or with the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Dr. Adrian Peterson, Wavescan's Founder and Editor-in-Chief did of course, but he is now in his mid-90's, and he retired from any active involvement with the show some 18 months ago. So, we are now in active negotiations to get the show carried by one or two other shortwave stations with coverage into Asia. It will continue on WRMI, WWCR, VOH-Africa and IRRS. And, there is now a new podcast platform for the show, at: https://wavescan.podomatic.com This has the shows from the past couple of months, including the edition that aired yesterday on some stations. We see Wavescan as complementary to what you do on WOR, and not as a competitor. I hope you'll help us get the word out that Wavescan is continuing, and where it can be found. Thank you, Ray Robinson, Los Angeles, Strategic Communications Group, Voice of Hope World Radio Network, www.voiceofhope.com `` My reply: ``Ray, Good to hear from you. Certainly I will publicize what is happening. It seems you have been treated rather shoddily. I`m not that surprised since it has long seemed to me that AWR HQ considered WS not really part of AWR, not including it on official schedules, at least when aired on non-AWR stations. I agree our programs are complementary with your emphasis on history and mine on the latest info. 73, Glenn`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) ** U S A. 3265+ & 5130-, Oct 25 at 2358, no signals of WBCQ into Maryland SDR - NH SDR is closed for some contest. 7490 -66 Hz = 7489.934, S9+10/15, FKB gets one-minute warning and quits, Chariots of Fire theme, IDs, and 0000 Oct 26 `WTO` opening `AAAWWW`; no disclaimer but immediately obvious it`s a rerun of last week, as Allan says his gorgeous wife dresses up for the radio, and they survived H. EiBi reminds us 7570 could be Canadian HF trading ute, or V. of Korea. 9455 WRMI remains silent (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 9945-9970 approx., Oct 24 at 0128, OTH radar clickery QRMing 9955 WRMI amid, as heard via Bonaire SDR; 25 kHz bandwidth, typical of Russia? (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 21460.05 approx., Oct 29 at 2208 JBA USB, sounds like ham QSO in English, maybe two stations; hams out of band, or spurs? Hardly necessary with very little occupancy below 21450 tho surely propagable if 28 MHz is (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 21725.0, Oct 24 at 1903, JBA carrier direct, the OSOB. Nothing listed anywhere around here; I also get local birdies obvious on vacant bands, but they land on odd split frequencies, yet this one is exact so suspect it`s real (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 25570-25580, Oct 26 at 2214, weak DRM noise vs CODAR pulses at 2/second. I don`t have DRM capability, but earlier today this was reported as KTWR GUAM. Earlier I could not get anything on Pacific-area SDRs where KTWR should have been propagating. Discussion about this on the WOR iogroup with Chris Mackerell, NZ: ``That isn`t even in the 11m SWBC band, starting at 25600 - Glenn`` ``If the "Test 2" tab is being pressed this is a DRM self-test sample built in to the KiwiSDRs, so not a real signal at all. Cheers, Chris`` ``The "KTWR" will almost certainly be reckless clicking of buttons in the KiwiSDR. The Kiwis have two short DRM recordings built-in so users can experiment with settings. "Test 1" plays a recording of BBC with Journaline, "Test 2" plays a recording of KTWR with slideshow. These will play regardless of what frequency the Kiwi is tuned to. I expect someone saw this DRM-like signal (nothing visible here in NZ around 22:45 UTC), and was clicking buttons to see what happens and magically "decoded" KTWR 🙂 --- Based on your hearing it along with CODAR I'd suspect a DRM-like utility broadcast of some type rather than a broadcast standard DRM signal. Cheers, Chris`` ``OK - I can see digital hash on 25575 kHz via the KPH HF Kiwi. http://198.40.45.23:8073/ --- If it is DRM it is wider than standard broadcast DRM its 18 or 20 kHz wide so would be undecodable with the Kiwi anyway. Cheers, Chris`` at 2255 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNIDENTIFIED. 26111.1, Oct 25 at 1450, something very distorted and weak, seems like a broadcast, not resolvable by FM, AM or SSB tuning. I was checking for 26110 FM, KMK282, broadcast auxiliary in California. Have long had carrier about here, presumed local birdie, But not even that was audible around 2200 check (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) UNSOLICITED TESTIMONIAL. Kudos to Fred Studenberg in Melbourne, Florida, producer of the no longer available BST-1 SW car radio. It`s remote-controlled only by a key fob link on 433.92 MHz, but I lost it on an outing! Fred very kindly replaced it for me at no cost, which also involved sending the radio back to him for reprogramming. Website is still up where you may read all about it; maybe find one on used market? http://carshortwaveradio.com/ (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2266)
